Many people wear minimal clothing while bathing on the beach or sunbathing. However, while this is allowed on the beach, walking half-naked in the city is forbidden under Spanish law. Those who violate this law can be fined over 250 euros. This regulation has been in effect since 2011.
(5) Playing on the beach is prohibited.
Many people enjoy playing sports while taking in the beauty of the beach. However, according to Spanish law, after swimming or enjoying the view, you must leave the beach promptly. Staying longer or engaging in certain activities may result in a fine.
